Course content
1. OBOR with Mutual Impact and Offer (Prof. Huilin YANG) 2. The Changing Identity of China in Global Governance and International Institutions (Prof. Yue CHEN) 3. China-EU People to People Exchange: Opportunities and Challenges (Prof. Jin YAN) 4. OBOR Initiative and its Implications (Prof. Tianhong LUO)

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to introduce the current perspective of the initiative One Belt One Road (OBOR). The initiative OBOR also called The New Silk Road was lanched by China in 2015 with the objective to interconnect Chinese markets with Asia and Europe. The course will consist of several lectures given by experts of the Renmin University of China.
The participant of the course will learn about the current insights and perspective of the economic cooperation between Europe and China within the Framework of the One Belt One Road initiative.

Ability to understand the lecture tought in English

Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student

Participating students are required to write a course summary (min 500 words). The summary is to be sent to professor Jaroslava Kubatova (jaroslava.kubatova@upol.cz) by October 15, 2018 at the latest.
