Course content
|
The course consists of the lecture and the subsequent workshop. 1. Lecture - Introduction to SE (definition of SE in social economy, social role of SE, SE criteria) 2. Workshop - characters of successful SE + successful examples, insight into work-integration. The course will be held on November 21, 2019 from 13:15 to 16:15.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to present the theoretical aspects of the concept of social entrepreneurship and to present the activities of selected social enterprises.
The students will gain a basic overview of the concept of social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic. They will be able to define the role of social entrepreneurship in the social economy, social contribution of social enterprises and criteria for defining social enterprise. During the workshop they will get acquainted with functioning social enterprises.

Prerequisites

The course is designed for students of all UP faculties interested in the concept of social entrepreneurship.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Seminar Work
Attendance at the lecture and workshop. Writing a seminar paper on the topic "Importance of social entrepreneurship in the current economy" (min. 2 SP, with 1 SP = 1800 characters)
