Course content
1. Asset and capital structure of the enterprise 2. Management of current assets 3. The importance of long-term investment assets 4. Evaluation of investments 5. Financial market products related to corporate finance 6. Financial analysis 7. Public finance introduction 8. Public investments 9. Student project defenses.

Learning outcomes
The course "Finance 2" continues the previous part, which presented basic principles and areas of financial management. The aim of this course is to introduce more specific areas of financial management, both at the general level and at the level of specific types of enterprises.
Student: - will understand short-term financing of current assets, their specific structure and modifications - will understand the principles of capital budgeting and financial decision making when getting fixed assets of a company - will be able to look up suitable sources for investment financing as well as consider the efficiency of simple projects - will orientate himself/herself in principles of profit allocation, dividend policy and creation of business funds - will learn about formation of a simple financial plan using an example of a real company - will get acquainted with methods of business assessment and establishing of its market price - will understand the basic aspects of the contemporary global financial development and its effects on a company
Prerequisites
A prerequisite is successful participation and knowledge from the course KAE/FI1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

80% attendance at lectures and seminars. Two absences are tolerated. Active participation in seminars. The course is completed with a test.
