Course content
|
It is an intensive 5-days workshop, which was attended by 15 students, 3 academics from UP and 3 practitioners. The aim is outside of the university to compare the needs of employers with real knowledge of students and to design a system to implement their requerments to study programme.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of workshop is to create a platform in which students can meet and discuss their views with the representatives of the private sector and to examine the extent of their knowledge and skills due to labor market needs. The course is realized as a part of th project Inovace výuky ekonomických disciplín na Univerzitě Palackého a její propojení s praxí, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0027, which was supported by European Social Sond and state budget of Czech republic.
The ability to lead discussion, to deal with potential employers, to examine the extent of their knowledge and skills, to identify lack which is needed to improve.

The coure has no special requirements of students ability and knowledge.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student
The credit is required: 1) active participation in the workshop 2) homework 3) presentation on a chosen topic 4) seminar paper / power point
