Course content
1. Project financing: Basic concepts 2. Finding funds for a project plan 3. Cross-section of grant sources 4. Project planning and preparation: Basic concepts, basic documents 5. The three imperatives of the project, project management techniques and tools, main management activities 6. Project cycle, project description and definition, project plan 7. Key project planning processes, practical creation of a specific project plan 8. Preparation of a project application: structure of a project application, basic documents useful for creating a project application, types of project applications 9. Practical creation of a project application 10. Processes for evaluating a project application 11. Project management: basic elements of project management 12. Project initiation, project team management, project control and monitoring, monitoring reports, project documentation 13. Project termination, most common problems in project management

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the preparation and management of research projects, recommended work procedures and sequences of steps, and the necessary requirements for the coordination of technical, procedural, managerial, and economic aspects. Special attention is paid to projects suitable for art history research and research in the field of knowledge and restoration of cultural heritage.
Students will gain knowledge about the possibilities of financing research projects, searching for specific grant titles and then about the complex project cycle from the quality writing of the project plan, through the project management of the approved project to the proper completion of the project.
Prerequisites
There are no special requirements for enrollment in the course.

Credit team written work and presentation - preparation of a project plan/project application.
