The course focuses on preparing students for practical training in those domestic institutions where they most often find professional employment ? in the workplaces of the National Heritage Institute, public, church, and private heritage sites, relevant public administration departments, or academic workplaces. Internships in archaeological research are also available. In the Czech Republic, cooperation is based on a bilateral agreement primarily with the National Heritage Institute in Olomouc. Students work at the institution under the supervision of experienced experts. They work on a project that develops their practical skills (monitoring of heritage sites, inventory of movable property, guiding activities, etc.). The topics of the projects change every semester. The number of hours allocated to the course includes, as necessary, independent preparation of students for the internship and processing of the project results. A domestic institution is understood to be an institution in the Czech Republic or in the student's country of origin or permanent residence. The internship can be completed twice during the course of study.
