The Netherlands - Cities and modern architecture 4. Belgium - Gothic cathedrals and Baroque painting 5. Bavaria - aristocratic estates and parks 6. Saxony - the mining landscape of the Erzgebirge 7. Berlin and its surroundings 8. Salzburg - from Prehistory to the present 9. Wachau - a landscape of monasteries and an untamed river 10. Pannonia - from Roman province to modern Hungary 11. The excursion covers regions relevant to the professional growth of students.
Students gain an understanding of the cultural heritage in a historically defined European region (sites and settlements with art-historical and heritage value, cultural landscapes), including the documentation, preservation, and presentation of this heritage in situ and in memory institutions (museums, galleries, libraries), as well as the current state of knowledge regarding relevant professional issues.
