The course can be completed by submitting a published professional text that was prepared as part of studies at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University, and which, according to the national methodology for evaluating scientific outputs, meets all the criteria for a category B output (professional book) in the scientific field 6.4 Arts, and was published by a Czech or Slovak publishing house in printed or electronic publication (similarly for foreign students in their country of origin and native language). To fulfill the conditions for obtaining credit, the student must be the main (i.e., first) author of the publication and at the same time have at least a 33% share in the total scope of the output. In order to obtain credit, students must, in cooperation with the scientific secretary of the department or another authorized person, enter the output into the OBD (Personal Bibliographic Database) at FF UP. Results arising in connection with the performance of activities by students outside their studies at FF UP cannot be recognized. During the academic year, the course guarantor provides consultation hours for advice on publication output and publication strategy. They evaluate the quality of the publication and decide on the fulfillment of the requirements for credit. The course can be enrolled in and completed repeatedly with different outputs. The course is conducted in a form of individual consultations beyond the regular schedule.
