The course is designed as a series of selected chapters covering a wide range of topics related to European architecture of the 15th-18th century. The individual lectures will introduce periodisation, stylistic background, key figures of the period architecture, typology and important patrons.
Orientation in European architecture of the 15th-18th century; knowledge of key works, artists and types of artistic commissions.
