Learning outcomes
The course provides the outline of methods of art-history based on the historiographically-chronological line pointing out the period of the 19th-2oth centuries. The presentation of the main methods will show the various potzential approach to interpret an artwork. Lectures will be accompanied with analysis of selected text in seminars. The active attitude of students will be strongly required.
The knowledge of a typological structure of theories of interpretation and some examples of the interpretation of a work of art as an art form to its meaning.
Prerequisites
The finished bachelor degree of the History of Art.

Oral exam

Presence in seminars. Ability to work with texts.
