Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Written exam
The exam consists of written and oral parts and is based on B2 level coursebooks. The written part focuses on listening and reading comprehension; it also checks the grammar and vocabulary related to the units in the coursebook. Employing the form of a monologue and dialogue, the oral part checks students' speaking skills on the required level in both general language and subject-related language. Only students who have successfully passed the written test can do the oral part. In case students have an internationally valid certificate (e.g. Oxford or Cambridge) on B2 level or higher, they do not need to take the written part of the exam. They will only take the oral part. More information in the Moodle.
