Original socio-political texts from South Korean media sources. For each course iteration, up-to-date and relevant news articles are selected.

Learning outcomes
|
The goal of the course is to introduce the specifics of Korean language used in the media, especially the newspapers but also TV and radio.
Students will develop the ability to read, analyze, and translate authentic Korean news texts. They will improve their understanding of media-specific language, socio-political terminology, and stylistic features of journalistic writing. The course also enhances critical reading, contextual interpretation, and academic presentation skills.
