Learning outcomes
|
This practically oriented course focuses especially on deepening the technical text analysis skills, the ability to interpret it and to translate it into a target language appropriately. The course introduces basic terminology from various fields. Further, students acquire and practise intrepreting, which they will encounter in all future professions. Authentic materials from Japanese television and radio recordings are used in the lessons, and native speakers are invited into lessons. A part of the course is devoted to preparations for a specific practice interpreting (according to current conditions, organised in a Japanese company, at an exhibition, etc.).
Students learn and practise interpreting from Japanese to Czech and vice versa.

The course is designed for students of the Master´s programme of Japanese Philology.
