1st Introductory hour defining the field of China studies, content seminars, distribution of individual work 2nd Introduction to information work, the theory of computer science, introduction to library science, an overview of Czech libraries 3rd Excursion to the library - a practical teaching system libraries, catalogs, computer searches, interlibrary loans 4th Library Systems and the Chinese study, the method of searching books in the Chinese language, thematic areas, significant sinologické Library in the CR 5th Internet and its theoretical drawbacks, the main portals on Chinese studies, process and pitfalls of Internet information 6th Internet experience - information retrieval

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to introduce students first study to block the issue of Chinese studies in three basic levels. The first plane is a technical issue of Chinese Studies (transcriptional Chinese alphabet, the radicals of Chinese character writing system). The second plane, the issue of work with information sources, which has its own specific difficulties of the type of Chinese characters, and the availability of small springs. The third plane is an introduction to the history of Chinese studies, as familiar with the history and spread the field and its possibilities.
