Practical Chinese Conversation is suitable for advanced students (from the third year or higher, especially for the students who have already been to China). The course focuses on formal spoken and written Chinese mainly in the field of work. It covers topics such as application for a job, formal communication via Email, formal phone calls, interviews, Chinese at work etc., which could help students prepare for their future work.

Assessment methods and criteria

For completion of the subject 75 % attendance in the classes is required (forms 40 % of the final result, in case of illness the student should inform the teacher in advance) and there is a final oral exam (forms 60 % of the final result, students make small groups and draw a topic which they will perform a dialogue about).
