Practical Chinese Conversation is suitable for intermediate students (the third year or higher). The course focuses on spoken and written Chinese mainly in formal situations. It covers topics such as formal communication via Email, phone calls, solving problems in real life in modern China etc., which could help students prepare for their future life in China.

Assessment methods and criteria

For completion of the subject 75 % attendance in the classes is required (forms 40 % of the final result, in case of illness the student should inform the teacher in advance) and there is a final oral exam (forms 60 % of the final result, students make small groups and draw a topic which they will perform a dialogue about).
