Course content
Students must have knowledge of the legislation applicable to NGOs in the field of volunteer service, know the differences that do not allow uniform rules for the non-profit sector in the EU and understand philanthropic activities as a contribution to the development of democracy and civil sector.

Learning outcomes
The course aims to prepare students for future work with volunteers and addressing issues related to the management of volunteer within the voluntary sector. Students will understand the importance of volunteering in terms of social, economic and personal and learn to use methodology suitable for this activity with various target groups.
Student acquires capacity usage legislative changes volunteering in the Czech Republic, compares this adjustment with the adjustment in other EU countries understand the importance of volunteer centers and acquires competence for creating rules for the management of volunteering in various types of NGOs. Will create their own volunteer projects, use of existing methodology of work with volunteers and create new according to the needs and intentions of institutions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Students must pass a written examination, which will focus on demonstrating knowledge of legislation, international comparisons, the basis for the design and management of volunteer programs.
