Course content |
The course introduces students to the possibility of photography and the ethics of processing image material accompanying crisis situations. The course will deal with the analysis of the content and form of photographs, the possible production and post-production distortion of reality and the ethical framework of this issue. Students acquire the skill to decode the used symbols of the current visual culture. Content: 1. Basics of photography, a look at history 2. Use of photography in crisis and breakthrough situations 3. Basic possibilities of techniques during photography 4. Basic post-production options 5. Analysis - portraying characters in a crisis situation 6. Analysis - speed in reportage photography 7. Analysis - post-production editing - options 8. The student organizes his/her studies based on the instructions of the supervisor and the teacher; he/she participates in lectures and seminars and completes continuous and long-term assignments.
