Course content
|
This course introduces students to the basic principles of audiovisual production in relation to information dissemination during the crisis lifecycle. It prepares students to use audio outputs and analyze them across information channels. The course demonstrates how to work with audiovisual formats on different levels, including social media. Through practical exercises, students learn how to effectively convey information using images, sound, and editing. They also learn to recognize manipulation in audiovisual production and assess the ethical aspects of handling sensitive audiovisual materials. Additionally, students are introduced to and practice strategies for presenting on camera. - Students will understand the principles of creating an audiovisual work as well as the form and method of processing; - know the technical requirements for the creation of an audiovisual work; - understand the methods of reception of an audiovisual work; - be able to analyse the information provided through audiovisual production; - be able to distinguish and assess which information is useful/useful/useless/redundant in audiovisual production; - be able to prioritise the effective content of an audiovisual work during a crisis situation.
