Course content
Students will gain a basic understanding of integration efforts in history, the concept of integration in the world and the legislative background for integration. Also they will learn the basics of integration in relation to different types of specific educational needs of children. Competence - Students will be able to participate in the preparation of individual plans for selected children with special educational needs.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students with the importance of the concept of integration and the importance of other concepts related to integration (exclusion, segregation, integration). The concept of integration will be put into the context of social pedagogy . Students will gain a basic understanding of integration efforts in history, the concept of integration in the world and the legislative background for integration. Also they will learn the basics of integration in relation to different types of special educational needs of schoolchilds. The aim of the seminars give to students practical skills for socio-educational work with children and students with disabilities. Students will become familiar with various compensation aids and other tools that are used in the educational process of children and pupils with disabilities The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091
Students will be able to participate in the preparation of individual plans for selected children with special educational needs.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Active cooperation in seminars. In the group of about 4 students propose a modification of the environment and educational situations for selected children with special educational needs.The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS
