1. Conflict, factors influencing the course of conflict 2. People's reactions to conflict situations 3. Methods of conflict resolution, competence - cooperation 4. Effective communication, negotiation 5. Mediation, basic characteristics, objectives, principles 6. Mediation participants and relations between them 7. Role of the mediator, competences 8. Phases and means of mediation 9. Areas of application of mediation 10. Family mediation 11. Ethics of conflict resolution 11. Legal conditions for the use of mediation

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the nature and basic characteristics of conflicts, reactions people's reactions to them and the possibilities of their amicable resolution. The main focus will be on the method of family mediation, both theoretically and practically.
Upon completion of the course, students should: - Be familiar with the characteristics of interpersonal conflicts and people's reactions to them - Be familiar with the basic methods of conflict resolution - Be familiar with the mediation method and how it can be used in practice - Be familiar with the characteristics of family mediation and the factors of its use in practice - Acquire basic mediation skills

Student performance

For completion of the course is necessary to actively participate in seminars to the extent specified seminar leader, task fulfillment and successful colloquium.
