The aim of the course Theory and Methods of Social Work is to provide a basic overview of the development of social work, its legitimacy values and ethical principles. The aim is to introduce students to the use of a systems approach in social work with individuals and families. Learners will become familiar with the approaches used in systems work. Students will be able to apply the knowledge gained in practice, and will demonstrate specific skills in practicum.
