The aim of the course is to introduce students to various (target) client groups and the possibilities for addressing their adverse social situations using theories, methods, and techniques of social work, the process of client situation assessment, and the ethical reflection of specific cases within social work. This is done in a way that enables students to apply this knowledge in direct practice when addressing specific social problems. The course (practical sessions) will also include the development and practice of practical skills.
