The student is able to assess specific social problems that may have medical causes, as well as situations in which social conditions contribute to the development of illness (including basics of anatomy and physiology). This enables the student to understand the interconnections and impacts of changes in a client's health status and life situation. The student will gain insight into the development of infectious diseases in the context of social and humanitarian work, including appropriate preventive measures. The aim of the practical training is to acquire the skills needed to develop a health plan.
