The aim of the course is for students to understand the basic concepts and processes related to globalization; to be able to recognize and identify the causes, consequences, and interconnections of global issues and their manifestations at the local or regional level; and to be able to define how these issues influence the development of humanitarian crises, the evolution of problems, and how they affect both humanitarian and development aid.
