Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire the basic principles and methods of crisis intervention and to apply crisis intervention in counseling work with individual target groups. Another aim of the course is to prepare students sufficiently to respond appropriately when encountering a crisis situation in a target person, both in terms of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Student: - can describe the counseling process and crisis intervention in the context of social work; - knows the basic course of the counseling process and crisis intervention; - able to conduct a counseling interview and crisis intervention; - able to assess the specifics of conducting a counseling interview and crisis intervention for different target groups.

Requirements for students Personal attendance at seminars, discussions in small groups and in large groups. Those who are absent from seminars must submit a seminar paper.
