Learning outcomes
Students will learn to understand the dynamics of health and illness, the dynamics of social inclusion and functioning versus exclusion, and the variability of their manifestations in the organic unity of human life. Furthermore, students will learn to understand the specific characteristics of individual target groups in relation to their life stories and the development of their socially disadvantaged situations. Students will learn to define clients? coping resources from physical (health, biological), psychological, social, and spiritual perspectives. They will also understand the dynamics of clients? difficulties and acquire the appropriate terminology related to these issues. Students will gain knowledge about the types of professional assistance offered to individual clients or target groups (taking into account the various disciplines studied), both at a general level and within the specific region.
