The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge that will enable them to gain a basic understanding of the most important legal regulations governing family law. Lectures will focus on acquiring theoretical knowledge and will be supplemented with the analysis of practical examples so that students are able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. After successfully completing the course Family Law, students will be able to navigate the legal framework of family law and use the acquired knowledge when working with clients.

Participation in classes according to the rules of UP Olomouc supplemented by self-study. Teaching will take place in-person, hybrid via ZOOM, or it will be possible to watch the lectures from a recording. Students who watch the lectures from the recording will be provided with two online consultations, each lasting 1.5 hours, for supplementary questions related to the material covered and the lectures viewed. The list of exam topics for the colloquium will be published no later than one month before the end of the course. The colloquium can be taken orally or in writing in the form of a test, followed by a discussion of the test results.
