Students will be able to search for information related to the legal status of clients and their situations. They will learn to apply acquired knowledge to specific cases in social work. They will be able to identify potentially unlawful discriminatory behavior and provide basic counseling. They will also be able to recognize possible violations of the rights of clients who are deprived of their liberty and provide basic counseling or notify the appropriate authorities. They will be capable of justifying their actions with relevant legal regulations.
