Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to present selected topics through primary sources, which will be read and analysed collectively by the students during the course.
Through reading and subsequent analysis of selected texts reflecting key historical events in late antiquity and medieval Europe, students will gain an understanding of their significance for the subsequent development of the history of Christianity.

Prerequisites
|
No special prerequisites are required for study the subject. The reading materials for the session will be sent out in advance, but it is not necessary to have studied them beforehand in order to attend the session, unless the lecturer specifies otherwise well in advance.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Familiarisation with the core reading list, active participation in webinars, completion of the assignments set on the LMS platform, and successful completion of the oral examination
