Course content
|
Deeper knowledge of Latin morphology and syntax. The reading focuses on the Vulgate, Old Christian literature, Liturgical and Medieval Latin texts. The exercises, which take the form of webinars, include working with dictionaries specialising in Christian and Medieval Latin.

Learning outcomes
|
The goals of the course are to read selected Latin texts with the help of a dictionary and the latin grammar.
Upon completion of the course, students will: - gain a basic understanding of texts written in Latin - be able to use Latin dictionaries specialising in Christian and medieval vocabulary - become familiar with some of the specific features of liturgical Latin
