Course content
|
Verb morphology and basics of syntax of Biblical Hebrew. Reading of the biblical text 4-5 chapters of the Old Testament. Beyond the designated time allocation, the course may conclude with a voluntary 2-3 day in-person intensive seminar dedicated to reading biblical texts.

Learning outcomes
|
Deeper knowledge of Biblical Hebrew, including basic verb inflection.
Understanding of simple sentences in Hebrew text. Ability to work with a dictionary. Ability to use electronic tools for working with Hebrew text.

Prerequisites
|
Successful completion of the course Basics of Biblical Hebrew. Basic knowledge of Biblical Hebrew corresponding to the learning outcomes of the course KBV/DTZBH.
