Learning outcomes
|
This course will serve as an introduction to scientific work. Students will be introduced to the basic principles of writing scientific publications, evaluating scientific outputs, and will acquire the ethical principles of scientific research. The course will also cover basic orientation in scientific databases (WoS, Scopus, Erich), the use of support software for writing academic texts (e.g., EndNote), an introduction to basic statistical methods and the interpretation of results, and familiarization with data analysis software (SPSS). The course will also include an introduction to writing scientific grant proposals.
