The course focuses on the essential foundations and key topics of clinical psychology and psychopathology. It primarily addresses mental disorders and the psychological aspects of somatic illnesses, scientific research in this area, diagnostics, and treatment. The main topics include etiology and analysis of the conditions of origin, classification and diagnosis, prevention, therapy, rehabilitation, epidemiology, and evaluation. Students will learn how to identify and critically assess the relevant connections and how to apply scientific knowledge in practice.
