Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to the methodology of qualitative applied research in the field of subjective health experiences, specifically the DIPEx approach. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the objectives of the DIPEx project and research, the process of its implementation from project preparation to completion, and the practical application and publication of its results. The topics of individual sessions are outlined below: * Objectives of the DIPEx project and its applications ? use in healthcare, teaching, and education * Ethical issues related to research implementation (protection of personal data, informed consent, consent for data use) * Theoretical background of DIPEx research * Competencies of the DIPEx researcher * The DIPEx research process (preparation phase, advisory panel, participant recruitment, participant registry) * Conducting the interview (interview equipment, interview management, interview recording) * Data archiving (interview transcriptions, interview checks, preparation and archiving of biographical participant data) * Data analysis (data coding, thematic analysis, OSOP method) * Website preparation: preparing materials for the website, preparing topic summaries, preparing interview excerpts * Recommendations for preparing scientific publications
