The aim of the course is to provide students of the Social and Humanitarian Work program with a basic overview of the development of social work and its legitimacy. The objective is for students to be able to interact with different types of clients, master various forms of verbal and nonverbal communication, establish and conduct interviews with clients, and be equipped with the knowledge necessary to understand the essence of social work with individuals, including familiarity with relevant theories and the ability to adequately apply elements contained in these theories.
