Course content
The course will be aimed at both basic and applied research (e.g. conservation biology). The course will focus on reading original scientific articles from journals with impact factor, on their analysis and interpretation of results. In this way, students will learn how to understand current scientific literature and how to extract key messages. This ability is indispensable for successful preparation of final theses at all levels of studies.

Learning outcomes
In this course, students will gain understanding of important current trends in ecology and evolutionary biology based on reading scientific literature in English.
Students will learn how to understand current scientific literature and how to extract key messages.
