Course content
Introduction to first aid issues, sudden health impairment, system of first aid. Vital organs and their functions. Injuries and accidents. Injuries to bones and joints, chest and abdominal trauma, craniocerebral trauma, spine and spinal cord injury. Drowning, shock, intoxication. Acute events due to physical causes. First aid in pediatrics and during pregnancy.

Learning outcomes
Introduction to problems of emergency aid in terrain with emphasis on practical skills and training of usage of devices in terrain in patients who are in life threatening situation including cardiopulmonary resuscitation training, stopping bleeding, management of extensive wounds, encompassment of physical and chemical effects on patient.
