Course content
Teaching theses: Terminological basis of ASD Etiology and etiopathogenesis of ASD Symptomatology of ASD (qualitative impairment in communication, qualitative impairment in social interaction, qualitative impairment in imagination and stereotypical behavior, nonspecific manifestations of autism) Classification of ASD (according to ICD-10 and DSM-V) Early care for people with ASD Educational system for people with ASD Counseling services for people with ASD and their families (ministries of education, health, social affairs, non-profit sector, etc.) Social support options for people with ASD Specifics of raising and educating people with ASD. Education and intervention options in our country and abroad. Training in structured learning (creating procedural diagrams) Alternative and augmentative forms of communication for people with ASD Training in the use of certain alternative forms of communication.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work, Analyzing and producing audiovisual content
Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students should be able to characterize the system of education and training of individuals with ASD, their integration into the social environment, including in the context of legislation, and know the symptoms of ASD and their effects.
