Course content
The aim of the course is a theoretical and practical insight into the issues of manifestations of conspicuous, risky and problematic behavior in the context of individual development. The emphasis will be on the basic issues of the field in its narrower sense - conduct disorders and hyperkinetic disorders.

Social disadvantage, social exclusion, causes, prevention, manifestations, intervention programs, specifics of the Roma family and Roma child in the context of school education and preschool preparation. CAN syndrome - abuse, sexual abuse, neglect - causes, manifestations, diagnostics, intervention options, protection and prevention. Prevention of risky behavior in schools and school facilities, specific and non-specific primary prevention programs. Addictology, addictive behavior. Emotional disorders and other psychological disorders. Excursion in an orthopedic facility, implementation of a joint output. Thematic areas: " Conspicuous, risky and problematic behavior - theoretical and terminological insight into the issue, classification systems. "School legislation and the possibilities of integration of pupils with health and social disadvantages, current issues of inclusive education in the Czech Republic. "The phenomenon of discipline and indiscipline at school, the connection between classroom climate and discipline, the authority of the teacher, disciplinary means, measures supporting the discipline of pupils. Types of risky behavior and its manifestations - e.g. truancy, bullying and manifestations of aggression, racism and xenophobia. Types of problematic behavior and its manifestations - eg negativism, lying, stealing, running away, wandering. Behavioral disorders - classification, terminology, etiology, developmental conditioning, intervention options. " Hyperkinetic disorders - classification, terminology, etiology, developmental conditioning, intervention options. " Aggression and aggressiveness - etiology, classification, intervention options. "Bullying - etiology, definition, forms, stages of development, participants. Cyberbullying. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: Explain the concepts of social disadvantage and social exclusion, analyse their causes and manifestations, and demonstrate basic knowledge of prevention and intervention programmes. Describe the specific characteristics of Roma families and Roma children in the context of school education and pre-school preparation and assess their impact on the educational process. Identify forms of the CAN syndrome (child abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect), recognise their basic manifestations, and demonstrate orientation in diagnosis, intervention, protection, and prevention. Demonstrate knowledge of the prevention of risk behaviour in schools and educational institutions and distinguish between specific and non-specific primary prevention programmes. Explain the basic principles of addictology and characterise addictive behaviour, including its causes, manifestations, and consequences. Differentiate selected emotional and other mental disorders and understand their impact on behaviour and educational functioning. Reflect on experience gained during a field visit to an etopaedic facility and contribute to a joint output using acquired theoretical knowledge.
