Course content
Teaching theses: " Basic methodological aspects of writing a final thesis - prerequisites, choice of topic, thesis supervisor. " Principles of writing a final thesis. " Formal obligations of students when assigning a final thesis topic. " Recommended structure of the final thesis content. " Bibliographic and non-bibliographic citations - working with information sources. " Specifics of processing the practical part of the final thesis. " Processing the final thesis from the perspective of spelling and stylistics. " Final form of the final thesis. " Defense of the final thesis. " Consultation of examples. " Presentation of the final thesis project.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the essentials of preparing, creating and defending a diploma thesis. The aim is to prepare the student for their own authorial work when writing a final thesis (diploma).
After completing the course, students should be able to: " understand the terminology related to the preparation and defense of the final thesis; " responsibly approach the choice of the final thesis topic; " master the basic administration associated with the assignment and management of the work in the faculty's information system; " use available information sources (library services, electronic resources, databases); work appropriately with literary and other references (citations); " prepare the structured content of the work while adhering to the recommended proportions between the theoretical and practical parts of the work; " use previous knowledge of the methodology of special educational research and its application in the creation of the work; " master the development of the final thesis project using the accumulated knowledge and skills.

The condition for awarding credit is at least 80% active participation in seminars/exercises - Knowledge will be verified through discussion of specific examples demonstrating orientation in the topic - Verification of study results will take place through discussions within seminars
