Course content
|
The course focuses on the theoretical foundations and terminology of compensatory aids in special education. It addresses the systematic classification of compensatory aids according to the type and degree of special educational needs and the principles of their indication, selection, and use in educational and support practice. Attention is paid to the possibilities of integrating modern technologies and elements of artificial intelligence into compensatory solutions and to their benefits in promoting independence and social inclusion of persons with special needs. The course content also includes the limitations, risks, and ethical, legal, and professional aspects of applying compensatory aids within special educational intervention. Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to develop students' professional knowledge and understanding of the use of compensatory aids for persons with special needs and to prepare them for their application in educational and support practice. The course seeks to ensure that students understand the principles of selecting and using compensatory aids depending on the type and degree of special educational needs, including the application of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, and that they are able to apply these tools effectively and ethically within special pedagogical intervention.
