Course content
1) Analysis and examination of case studies of clients with disabilities in individual systems of support and protection 2) Application of theoretical knowledge of special education and related disciplines to specific practical situations 3) Case study solutions in the fields of education, social services, public administration, and counselling 4) Identification of key client issues and evaluation of applied support measures 5)Formulation of professional conclusions and recommendations 6) Presentation, defence, and evaluation of students' outputs 7) Ethical and professional aspects of working with case studies

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to develop students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge of special education and related disciplines to specific cases of persons with disabilities in various systems of support and protection. The course seeks to enable students to independently analyse case studies, identify key client issues, evaluate applied measures, and propose appropriate support procedures with regard to the type of disability and the institutional context. An integral part of the course objective is also the development of professional argumentation skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and professional communication, as well as the ability to formulate one's own professional opinions, recommendations, and conclusions based on ethical and professional standards.
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - apply knowledge acquired through the study of individual disciplines in the analysis of case studies of clients with various types of disabilities, - orient themselves in systems of support and protection in the fields of education, social services, public administration, counselling, and other related areas, - critically evaluate specific client situations and formulate professionally substantiated recommendations for their resolution.

A prerequisite for successful completion of the course is the fulfilment of the requirements set by the instructor at the beginning of the semester, in particular the student's active participation in classes, including regular attendance, engagement in professional discussions, and completion of ongoing study obligations arising from the organization of the course.
