Course content

Surdopaedia - definition, classification in the system of sciences. Terminological definition. Auditory perception - the importance of hearing for the development of the human psyche. Classification of hearing disorders. Hearing tests. Audiogram - orientation in the records of the tests. Importance of early intervention for children with hearing disabilities. Principles of Hearing Impairment care. Integration and integration efforts. Working in terms of integration and their modifications. The issue of special education methods Surdopedy. Present in the education of hearing impaired people in the world. KI Hearing Impairment in practice. Individual planning Surdopedy. Some linguistic comments on communication techniques in schools Specific terms of educational work affected by hearing impairment.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the discipline is to introduce to students the basic issues related with the special education of persons with hearing impairments.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.

Knowledge of the fundamentals of special education.

Written exam
Fulfilment of subject requirements as stipulated by the teacher at the beginning of the semestr.
