The aim of the course is to develop students' professional knowledge and understanding of intervention procedures used in special educational practice within the education sector and to prepare them for their professional application in working with children, pupils, and students with special educational needs in the school environment. The course seeks to ensure that students understand the theoretical and practical foundations of special educational interventions implemented in schools and educational institutions, their impact on the quality of life and educational trajectories of individuals with special needs across age groups, and that they are able to use the results of special educational diagnostics when working with support measures in educational practice. An integral part of the course objective is also to familiarise students with support intervention procedures applied in the Czech Republic and abroad and to develop their ability to cooperate effectively with components of the education system and other relevant bodies within intersectoral cooperation.
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - explain the basic concepts and principles of special educational interventions in the education sector, - orient themselves in intervention procedures used in school practice, - interpret the results of special educational diagnostics in relation to support needs, - use diagnostic findings when working with support measures in educational practice, - cooperate with components of the education system in the provision of support for pupils with special educational needs. |
