Course content
1. Methodology of constructing and design engineer's responsibility - design requirements, specification, technical, economical and qualitative parameters - processing phase of technical documentation, function of research and development in constructive practice 2. Basic elements of machine components, machines and assembly units - machine components and joints, turning motion transfer, gearings - mechanisms and their parts, supports, greasing and sealing 3. Rules for preparation of drawings and schemes for engineering and electrotechnics - international technical standardization and certification, range of technical documentation - basic rules of imaging - imaging and dimensioning of machine components and constructional elements - technical drawings and technological procedures - geometric tolerances and surface roughness prescript, system of limits and fits 4. Quality and engineering metrology - function of metrology in quality guarantee of engineering products - technical control in machine works, tie-in system of standards and gauges 5. Educational excursion and practice.

Learning outcomes
To be able to make the basic technical documentation and engineering drawings for cooperation with design engineer.
Informed elementarily about methodology of construction of elements for fine mechanics. Prepare technical draft according to current standards that should be used as a fundament for subsequent making out of technical documentation.
