Course content
|
The subject guarantor and the designated university teachers will serve as supervisors, will visit the individual institutions where the students will practice, will be in contact with the management of the relevant institutions and with their own leaders of practice. As part of their practical activities, students will be required to submit the required materials (diary of practical training), will discuss and discuss problems encountered during practice. Each student will prepare for the next days according to the methodical head of practice after the opening day of practice. The student will prepare short presentations during the ongoing practice (3-5 pages, eventually ppt. Presentation) as a demonstration of the activity he / she participated in.

Learning outcomes
|
Practice will take the form of familiarization with the issue of the equipment, self-preparation and interactive discussion. Students will learn how to use methods of support and protection of health of individuals, groups and society. Practice also includes knowledge of practical activities of individual departments of hygienic stations, gain practical insight into the field of insurance and financing of health care, participate in activities of project departments of hospitals, activities in social services, health counseling centers, etc.
After completing practice, the student should be acquainted with the activities of selected institutions, with their activities and should be able to design or evaluate a simple project. Students should be able to further develop new perspectives of their work. They should be able to adopt and internalize values and attitudes arising from newly acquired experience and knowledge. They should be able to reflect internal and external barriers in their work in public health.

Student performance, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student
Preparation for an internship - self-study. Contact teaching. Individual study - self-study, preparation of short presentations, discussion. Keeping a practical teaching diary (logbook, protocol from practice). Active approach during practice, 100% participation in practice.
