Course content
The course deals with the basic orientation of the ethical issues related to clinical practice, becoming familiar with case reports of ethical issues, dilemmas and doubts from various fields of clinical medicine. In the subject of ongoing practical training in ethical deliberation.

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on: a) the importance of clinical ethics and a demonstration of instructions for solving ethically controversial case studies in medical practice; (b) ethical dilemmas in clinical medical practice, including specific case studies; c) the spiritual needs of the sick patients and clinical pastoral care; d) discussions with physicians about their life experiences in dealing with ethically controversial situations in specific clinical practice (oncology, gynaecology, internal medicine, forensic medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics, etc.).
Student will be able, upon completion of the course, to implement the findings of clinical ethics in their own medical practices. It should also be able to apply the basics of ethical deliberation in ethically controversial medical situations.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the principles of medical ethics.

Oral exam

Active participation in the lessons.
