Course content
The subject includes major and also specialized occupational medical care. Risk factors of working (for example chemical and biological agents, allergens, local muscle strain, neuropsychological strain, noise, dust, vibration, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation) and their influence on health status are closely evaluated. The list of occupational diseases, regulations for reporting occupational disseases, compensations, the most commonly accepted occupational diseases. Work related deseases. Health damages from work from point of view of different branches of human activity. Health damages from work in the context of individual medical professions chiefly primary care.

Learning outcomes
Aim of this subject is to master interdisciplinar branch of knowledge, which deals with impact of occupational environment on individual and population health. The object of the study is also prevention, diagnostics, treatment and advisory ascpects of diseases caused or made worse by work.
The student will be able to identify health risk factors from work, and their influence on the health. He will be able to implement it into diagnostics, therapy, and prevention in various medical fields. He will obtain major knowledge for assessing health eligibility for work and also for management harm of health from work including a precaution for protection and health support.
