Course content
The subject deals with these specific acute conditions: bleeding from birth injuries, cervical bleeding, uterine cervical bleeding, abdominal bleeding, ectopic pregnancy. It also deals with symptoms, diagnostics, treatment options, and complications of the above mentioned conditions. Another subject is abdominal pain associated with pain, their diagnosis, treatment options, complications (salpingitis, adnexitis, pelvoperitonitis, peritonitis) and highly specialized midwives care in these conditions.

The course will focus on providing highly specialized care in midwifery in acute gynecological conditions.
Upon completion of the course students will be able to provide a highly specialized care in midwifery in specific acute conditions occurring in gynaecology.
